Before and After Photos…

Alex and Sam finished the last Star Wars Lego (hold out from Christmas that was never 100% completed) and brought together most of their creations… I think there were a couple that had already been be decommissioned. Alex also started on his next project – one of his birthday presents.

We adopted a 2-year old golden retriever in July. His name was originally Harley, but since nobody liked that name we changed it to Farley. It took him about a week to get adjusted to his new surroundings, but he seems to be quite comfortable now. He has already become a part of the family. We did have to take Ms Kili back to Marji’s house for the remainder of the summer (she has a friend dogsitting for her) as the two dogs were not getting along too well

Alex and Sam love building Lego creations and they now have quite a collection of Lego pieces… here are their latest masterpieces.

In addition to finding some cool seashells the boys also got to climb the sand dunes and they got to see 2 dolphins swimming in the ocean out in front of a big ship not too far from the seashore – they were very excited! We also saw a decomposed hermit crab shell and Sam found a random crab leg

We took our 2nd Annual trip to the beach this year on New Year’s Day. We went to our favorite spot – Fort Macon Beach to look for seashells. The weather unlike last year was very mild – mid 60’s and a little breezy. Considering we had 6-8″ of Snow the day after Christmas we would have never guessed that we were going to make the trip today.

Here are some photos from Christmas…. Everyone seemed to have a great day and the boys were really tired by bedtime. The boys played on their new Xbox and built legos most of the day. We had breakfast at our house and dinner at Nana’s house, then we watched Toy Story 3 before going home and packing for the Waynesboro trip.
