Early voting…

Today, we joined the millions of other Americans that voted early. Mom, Dad, Sam and Nana all closed in all the correct circles on the ballot. Alex, as usual stayed at home. 🥲 We were a little worried that it would take long because the parking lot had been full everytime we drove past the last few days, but we were lucky as the lot was only half full and the whole process only took about 20 minutes.

A couple of weeks ago, Mom and Dad got a chance to go down to Greenville, NC and see the Vice-President give a speech at East Carolina University (ECU Minges Coliseum). It was standing room only and they were some of the last ones that were allowed in to the event. This whole election is like watching a Kansas City Chiefs football game… you have no idea who is going to win and you know it is going to come down to the last few plays. 😆

Birthdays…

Well, the birthday season is over as Alex and Mom had birthdays in August and Nana had her birthday in September. Each birthday boy/girl got to pick their own dinner that day and each received a couple of small gift bags. Other than the birthdays, not a lot of New News to report. The hurricanes all missed us, but we did got quite a bit of rain… oddly enough, we haven’t seen much rain since then. The flowers, except for the Cannas, are starting to wind down and soon it will be time to trim back the elephant ears and banana trees which both exceeded our expectations this year. This weekend we will probably go ahead and put out the Halloween inflatables too.
