Well as the boys get a little older, we tend to sleep in a little longer each year.  When Mom forced everyone to get up at 8am on Christmas morning even Alex managed to get up on the first request (on most school days this would have taken double-digit requests/threats before Alex would make it out of bed).  So even though Alex and Sam might not be quite as excited as they were when they were 4, Christmas still holds a little special something for them…. hopefully they will never out grow that part of the holidays.

Farley may not be the coldest beer in the fridge but he sure knows what happens on Christmas morning.  I think he was more excited than the boys….  🙂

Well at least another loss means more playing time for Alex…. he got a chance to play most of the 2nd half.  Alex again showed some good defense and even roughed it up a little with 3 fouls in the game but needs more confidence on the offensive side of the court.

Alex is starting to get a little bit of playing time on the basketball team.  Although he is pretty reluctant to get involved on the offensive side, he does quite well on defense.  Hopefully after he gets a few shots under his belt he will gain some more confidence.
