The prophecies surrounding the end of the world may now be coming true as Alex has finally passed the exam to get his Learner Permit.  It took Alex 4 tries but after he finally took the time to read the material he received a 95%…. now if we could only get him to do that with his homework.  So the unsafe roads in Greenville have now become a little more dangerous and we will all be risking our lives to help him learn how to drive.  🙂

Well it wasn’t from President Obama, but Sam did win the President’s Education Award for Academic Achievement.  These awards go out to the students that work the hardest, show the most improvement and achieve academic excellence.  The award covers 3rd-5th grade at Trinity Chrisitian School.  Sam also received the B’ Honor role award today.

Hypervenom Phatal FQ…. try saying that 3x really fast and No – we have no idea what it means.  Anyway, baby needed a new pair of soccer cleats because he keeps growing, these are a size 10.  Thanks Nana for the new shoes, we are sure he will be wearing them for practice on Saturday.

Took a short drive today to take a few photos of the flowers along NC 264…..

Sam took third place in the NC Christian School Association’s Fine Arts Festival.  Sam competed against all 5th and 6th grade students in NC Christians schools and came away with a 3rd Place finish for his horse photo.  We are very proud of him and can’t wait to see what he takes photos of during our upcoming vacation.  🙂
